Michael Netzley, PhD, Founder
Tomas Klvana, PhD
We strengthen judgment where it carries real consequences.
When stakes are high. Over time. In the second half of leadership.
That work is delivered by a small, senior team with depth across neuroscience-informed leadership development, executive education, behavioural science, and applied learning design.
Founder Dr. Michael Netzley is Affiliated Faculty and an Executive Coach at IMD Business School.
Over two decades, Michael has worked with 15,000+ leaders in high-stakes environments —banking, aviation, healthcare, technology, and large-scale transformation.
His work focuses on the neuroscience of executive judgment: how cognitive capacity shapes performance, how it degrades under sustained demand, and how it can be deliberately expanded after 45.
Michael’s work has been featured in The New York Times, I by IMD, Dialogue by Duke CE, MIT Technology Review, and Channel News Asia.
Dr. Tomas Klvana serves as the Chief Learning Officer for work that extends The Executive Brain Playbook™ into sustained engagements—role transitions, organizational redesign, and high-stakes transformation.
His background spans CSR, strategic communication, and government relations, making him equally fluent in corporate and public sector environments. This matters when working with leaders who operate across both worlds—or when the stakes involve policy, regulation, or public accountability.
Tomas brings the kind of calm, methodical approach that makes difficult work feel possible.
Extend My Runway's broader team brings complementary expertise in learning design, behavioural science, organisational delivery, and AI-supported reinforcement—ensuring the work is rigorous, ethical, and designed to translate insight into sustained changes in judgment and behavior.
