Michael Netzley, Ph.D.

Entrepreneur, professor, and executive coach. Michael founded Extend My Runway (EMR) in 2018. Inspired by revolutionary neuroscientific discoveries, he designed and built the Thrive! Virtual Coach (MVP). It’s an AI-powered and context-aware coach that delivers the right nudge at the right time.
Michael’s passion for neuroscience, behavioural science, and our changing workforce led him to join IMD Business School and SMU Academy after consulting with EY and Heidrick. He previously spent 15 years on the faculty at Singapore Management University where he built a multi-award-winning career.
Michael is also a brain health coach with The Center for BrainHealth, an internal coach certified by the International Coaching Certificate programme (SMU), a qualified neutral (mediator; William Mitchell College of Law), and is certified with numerous assessments (e.g., Hogan, MBTI, Harrison, etc.).
His work has been featured in the New York Times and MIT’s Technology Review, and his research and op-eds have been featured in Dialogue Review, Channel News Asia, and Straits Times.
Michael is a Singapore permanent resident and has started a second Master’s Degree in Applied Neuroscience from King’s College London. He is teaching a new SkillsFuture course in Singapore called Train Your Brain: How to Improve BrainHealth and Thrive After 45.
Tomas Klvana, Ph.D.

Tomas is a senior international management consultant. He specialises in management, communication and stakeholder strategies. He is a Visiting Professor at the New York University Prague where he lectures in Stern School of Business programme on stakeholder management.
He served as Spokesman and Policy Adviser for President of the Czech Republic and Special Czech Government Envoy for Communications of the Missile Defense Programme, a U.S.-Czech-Polish project which brought him to work with U.S. Congress, Pentagon, State Department and the White House. He was a Shorenstein Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
He worked in various senior management functions at British American Tobacco in London, Hamburg, Prague and Brussels. As an independent consultant he advised international companies including International Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (Astra Zeneca, Pfizer or GSK), Lockheed Martin, Philip Morris International, EPS, Groupe SEB, and other. Tomas founded Aspen Institute Prague and is a member of its International Advisory Board. He holds a Ph. D. from University of Minnesota (USA). In 2012 he received Distinguished Leadership Award For Internationals from University of Minnesota.

Akanksha Rath
Government Grants and Programmes
(Singapore Permanent Resident; Singapore for 18 years). Akanksha moved to Singapore in 2002 and graduated from Singapore Management University (SMU) with a degree in finance. After several financial roles, Akanksha earned her Master’s in Tri-Sector Collaboration focused in Social Sciences from SMU – focus areas included the corporate implementation of UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, partnership solutions for Singapore’s ageing population, and sustainability reporting and metrics. In addition work with ageing, Akanksha is an adjunct faculty member at SMU.
Mario Domingo, Chief Technology and AI Officer
(Manila) Mario is an EMR investor who is designing and building the COReTEX AI engine. Mario has three successful AI exits to his name and is currently building AI that supports universal healthcare in the Philippines. Mario owns and operates DARC Labs, a non-profit AI research centre in Manila.
Jaan Turon,
(Melbourne) Jaan is the Founder and Managing Director of Venom Computers, and advises EMR on its commercial practices and key project delivery. Jaan brings deep entrepreneurial and international experience having founded multiple technology companies and managed IT service-based organisations, IT retailers, ICT distribution and 3PL services as well as IT manufacturing. Jaan is also an investor in private equity and funds management.
John Kerr, Chief Digital and Marketing Officer
(Singapore), John is an experienced executive and is EMR’s first investor. Previously, John served as the CEO of Edelman, Singapore and brings deep market and commercial experience in Asia. John has also served as the Global Chief Digital Officer at Zeno.
Yvonne Jose Netzley

(Singapore Permanent Resident). Yvonne brings a background most recently in retail and customer service. Previously she worked with Wine Connection in both retail and F&B outlets across Singapore. Yvonne is also a company Director.
